Former Homeless Shelter in Lame Deer - 2022

The Shelter has been condemned and people have no where to go. We are trying to help the New Beginning Food Pantry n delivering what we can, when we can. We are also hoping to keep sending $200.00 monthly to help them keep stocked and stay open-especially with Winter here.

 Homeless Shelter (Lame Deer) - 2022

We took a day to load up items to take to the Homeless Shelter in Lame Deer, MT on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation. Pastor Chad and Melissa’s group helped in purchasing food for them at a quick stop at Walmart on the way. Four Winds also purchased added items (perishables) to deliver as well. Our pastor - Tony Schmidt and Kandy - came along, too! This was the first trip to the reservation for most of these wonderful folks.

It was a spiritually prosperous day but very emotional as well. We were prayed for by Corey Bearcomesout - Shelter Director and his wife - Cheyenne. Pastor Chad then offered prayer over them, and the people at the shelter and the reservation as a whole. A stop was made at the Battle of the Little Bighorn (Custer Battlefield) and enjoyed by all. We all thanked God for the opportunity to serve so many in need. We were blessed!
